About Ironwood Legacy Properties
Rooted in Charleston tradition, guided by modern vision. We help discerning buyers discover the Lowcountry’s finest homes.
Founded on Charleston Roots
Ironwood Legacy Properties was born from a deep appreciation for Charleston’s architectural heritage and a vision for its future. Founded by Marcus Thorne, a lifelong Charlestonian and licensed broker with over two decades of experience, our firm bridges the gap between historic preservation and contemporary luxury.
We specialize in serving discerning buyers — particularly those making the “half-back” migration from the Northeast — who seek not just a home, but a lifestyle defined by culture, craftsmanship, and coastal living.

Community Connection
We don’t just sell houses — we welcome families into communities. Our deep local roots and relationships ensure every client feels at home from day one in the Lowcountry.

The Heart of the Lowcountry
Charleston consistently ranks as one of America’s most beloved cities — and for good reason. A unique blend of history, culture, culinary excellence, and natural beauty creates a lifestyle unlike anywhere else.
From cobblestone streets lined with centuries-old oaks to pristine barrier island beaches, the Lowcountry offers a quality of life that draws families, professionals, and retirees from across the nation.
